Summer Coffee Lovers Blog hop

We are thrilled to be participating again in the Coffee Lovers Blog hop! Thank you Amy for inviting us back. We are a fairly new company and love to be able to get involved with such a great group of crafters.

I love to mask! I thought it would be fun to mask a pattern onto a cup shape with butterflies and vines coming out of the cup. First, I die cut a cup shape out of typewriting paper so I could use it as a stencil to sponge the shape. All I needed was the outline shape of the cup.

I used Fresh Ink grapefruit for my base color and then stamped the mushrooms in Fresh Ink tomato. The mushrooms and vines are from our new Snail Mail set.

I will admit it took me a couple of trial and errors to get a pattern that I liked. Then, I masked the cup by covering it up to stamp the foliage coming out of the cup along with the butterflies. The butterflies and extra foliage stamps are from our wildflower set.

I added the butterflies and colored them with colored pencils. I used Fresh Ink aloe and mint for the foliage stamps. I had to stamp the envelope with this cute saying since my favorite little snail made it onto the card.

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to leave a comment and make your way to all of those that are participating for your chance to win a prize! Good Luck!
