Stencil Tutorial

We are having fun with our stencils using white stencil paste!
Here are a few samples and a couple tricks and tips. We love to use Crafter's Workshop Modeling Paste and we recently added it to the site!
It's nice to use painter taper to adhere the stencil over the paper that you are stenciling onto. Then It's nice to have a tool to apply the paste onto the card and be able to fill in the pattern and smooth it out. However, if you are in a pinch you can use your finger as well.
Here I used our new laurel stencil to create a leaf pattern on the card. After you apply the paste you will want to slowly remove the stencil. Be sure to clean you stencil with water immediately after you use the paste.
It's a thin layer of paste and only takes about 20 minutes for it to dry. I love to use a colored paper and have that color pop through on the card.
All stencils are 25% off from 12/11 - 12/14
Have a great weekend!
