Make your own Bird - Life is Lovely by Sandy Allnock

Hello there! I'm Sandy Allnock and I'm thrilled to be invited back to create another card for Flora and Fauna....are you just loving this line of stamps??

When I saw this Life is Lovely stamp set, I could instantly see a million uses for the bird, not to mention the pretty flowers and leaves. I wanted to turn the bird into all kinds of varieties! Watch the video below or click to see it in HD on YouTube.

I just love cards that are one-layer...they're simple, elegant, and with artwork that takes just a little time, they communicate just as much love as the fanciest embellished card!

Thanks so much for spending a few minutes with me today - leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite bird is - I'll be trying to turn this bird into other types of birds on Instagram this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled on my instagram @sandyallnock account.

Products used: neenah cardstock, prismacolor pencils, pencil sharpener, and corner chomper.

  • Sandy, I agree with you on one-layer, elegant cards such as this beauty you created. I love your choice of colors on this one, and as always your coloring is stunning.
