Happy Veteran's Day Weekend!

Thank you for all that serve and we are celebrating this weekend with a sale! We've also added a few new items to our sale section and they will be retired soon.
Here are a few techniques that we've been using for fall.
We love to stamp in ombre colors in all different color combinations. For fall we used a few of our Fresh Ink favorites: harvest, peach and persimmon.
One of my all time favorites is to add polka dots (free style). And my go to pens are gold or copper metallic pens (sharpie or anything). It's hard to capture it in a photo but it's just a fun basic technique that I love to do. For this card, I think it's fun to just die cut/stamped item and place it by itself on the card to make it the featured item.
Here is another card with the same polka dot signature.
Making a wreath is easy and fun to do. It's always challenging to get the right combination together that makes the circle and the correct curve. This is a combination of leaves from the leaf set and the woodland fall set. First, I will pencil out a circle shape and then stamp the large leaves a few times around the circle and then start to find smaller leaves that fit the space perfectly. If I don't map it out that way first, then it typically doesn't end up working and will be heavy on one side or lopsided visually.
Using white with a pop of color is also another good technique. Try die cutting in white and then playing around with them on watercolor washes or just placing them on white for the tone on tone look.
Have a great weekend and we hope you feel inspired to get crafty this weekend! Give thanks to those that serve and enjoy this fall weather!
