GUEST DESIGNER: Lisa Spangler

Hi there! We have the talented Lisa Spangler on the blog today with some wonderful cards that she created using some of our new sets! We love her style and so it's always fun to see her creativity at work.
For the first card, Lisa mentioned that this was the first set that she played. It’s all from texture 4 and those are watercolor pencils — so when you go over them with water it makes such a cool look. Love that line stamp and the pattern it makes!
Lisa, made this second card for her aunt’s bday! :)

She stamped the woodland birthday images in black and then “colored them in” by stamping images from texture 2 and texture 4!
The sequins are from the flower sequin kit from Impress — love them!
Here is a close up!
Lisa also made this card! It was inspired by a recent trip where she saw her first sanguaro cactus.
The brushstroke background is from the texture 4 set, the cactus die cut and the sun is the circle from texture 2 set! How clever - love it!
It might be a little hard to tell but the bottom brushstroke was stamped twice — once with sand ink and then after it dried I stamped the edge with delicata gold!
Thank you Lisa for being our guest today! We are so lucky to have such creative and talented friends.
Have a great day!
