I started by running stuff through my cuttlebug and right away couldn't believe how smoothly the dies cut, the quality is great! After I was done with my cutting I pulled out the stamps and went to town. I think I stamped flowers in ever color, but in the end only settled on a few for each card. I used the smaller dot like stamp to add the centers you see in each of my flowers, I also added a little bit of a contrasting shade with the flower "inside" stamp. It just added a little something extra.
I was pretty happy when I decided to make a background paper out of one of the larger "dot" stamps. I simply used black in and stamped them around the paper trying to keep them as equally spaced as I could. After I decided on where I wanted to use that stamped design I cut it with a pennant punch for my first card as well as used it to line he envelope. I also decided to use it on my second card as the layering base cut as a circle.
After I had the cards pieced together I simply started layering the flowers until I was happy with the placement. I used some pop dots to give added dimension to a few of them and parts of my sentiments.
Thanks for having me as your guest and for stopping by today, I had so much fun working making these and I hope you enjoyed them!
Thanks Stephanie for being a guest blogger. Your cards are beautiful and love the colorful colors combined with the black and white theme.
