Hello! It’s a pleasure to be guesting for Flora & Fauna Clear Stamps as they debut their new line!
The project I’m sharing today features the Octagon Greenhouse Set. I stamped a variety of floral images all at once using a MISTI and Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto the smooth side of some watercolor paper and then used a waterbrush and Peerless Watercolors to quickly color them in. When everything was dry, I used a very fine tip black marker to add lots and lots of tiny polka dots! After trimming the overall panel down by 1/8” all around, I then mounted it to a plain white card. The greeting was stamped with white pigment ink on a scrap of black card stock and 3D mounted to finish it off.
I adore the charming hand-drawn style of the images and can already imagine at least half a dozen ideas for these sweet florals and hope this project inspires!
