One thing I loved right off the bat was the variety of stamps in this set and how many different little succulent/jar combos you could make! I had to try them all!
So believe or not, I actually started with the envelope. I knew I wanted to make a wallpaper, of sorts, out of the different stamps. Then I started on the card. The glass topper and base is my favorite and I wanted to feature a little succulent inside. I found the aloe saying and I was hooked. I drew and watered colored an aloe plant on the inside of this dainty jar.
Most people know that I love making things in black and white - these stamps stamp so clean (which is rarer than you'd think) it made it easy to do. I lifted the aloe piece with a 3D dot sticker so I could add some paper crinkles underneath. I did a little smudging around the edges with a black ink pad & hot glued my pom poms to finish it off.
